Today

Today was a great day. I haven't woken up with a smile on my face for a long time. I usually wake up swearing at my alarm. Then it occurs to me that I have to go to work and I swear some more.

Today was different. I jumped out of the bed as the alarm rang. Showered, shaved and was on my way looking forward to my day. This kind of positivity is infectious or at least it seems so. Mundane tasks seem interesting. Daily meal at the canteen tastes better. You don't even notice when your routine in the gym is done.

Today will make this month for me. Let whatever hell come after this...
